The Edmond North Lady Husky basketball team picked up 2 wins last week in their opening week of the season. They went on the road and beat Norman North 81-20 last Tuesday, and won their first Edlam battle over Memorial 75-54 on Friday night.

Junior Laci Steele has led the Lady Huskies averaging 24.8 points in her 1st two games of the season.

The team has had 4 others score in double figures in the first 2 games. Ataya Casaus, Elle Paparhonis, Toni Paparhonis, and Allison Heathcock have all contributed double digits in the first week.

The Lady Huskies will be back in action Tuesday when they travel to Stillwater to take on the Lady Pioneers.

On Thursday they will travel to Bixby to play in the Bixby Invitational. Their first round matchup will be against Putnam City at 5:00.
